This was such a unique thriller – I was hooked right from the start. I thought the concept of time travel was so interesting, and I don’t think I’ve read anything like this before. This was more than enough to keep me turning the pages as Jen relives the day before Day Zero, and the day before that, and the day before that and other seemingly unimportant days just so she can figure out why her son killed someone.
The twists & reveals are fantastic, and there were times when I had to put the book down so I could pick my jaw up off the floor. Each piece of information linking back to Day Zero had me puzzling out how everything was linked & I really liked how this was paced out. This was such a clever & interesting book – I can’t wait to read more by Gillian McAllister.
