Vintage Art: Birds of Asia: 35 Botanical Prints features illustrations from Birds of Asia by John Gould (1804-1881), an English ornithologist, and Richard Bowdler Sharpe (1847-1909), an English zoologist and ornithologist. The beautiful drawings were created by a range of artists including Elizabeth Gould (John Gould's wife), William Matthew Hart, Edward Lear, Henry Constantine Richter and Joseph Wolf. Within this curated collection, there are depictions of birds in various settings, the Philippine Bee eater, Manilla Kingfisher, Macklot's Trogon, Dalhousie's Eurylaime and many more. How to use the prints: The detailed one-sided prints can be removed with either a box cutter or scissors, the illustrations are ideal for framing, collage, decoupage, mixed media, and junk journals.
