Description

The Other Side of the Bed focuses on various separate stories of a nurse and the role reversal of her professional field on numerous instances. To embark on real-life fear, challenges, and the quest of the unknown from one who has truly had ups and downs as a patient. It is my hope to bring to you my experiences through the deep human elements in life's roughest and scariest moments, and how we decide to handle them. As a patient, and even being a nurse, it was that way I accepted and identified my own health issues that I sought out professionals who would help me along many of my life's bumpy moments. I have been a registered nurse along with receiving my baccalaureate degree for over thirty-four years. Until you have been a patient at some point, you truly do not know what it feels like to be one. I do fully understand, and I totally empathize with you. Being on the other side as a patient, is quite different in numerous ways. Walk with me through my multiple uphill dilemmas, and how both as a patient and a medical professional, I triumphed under very difficult situations. May my tips and advice guide you on your journey. - Georgia
