James Sunderland firmly cemented his place in my favourite game characters of all time super list after this thrilling and deep game. Saying it's a game is almost an insult, it's a psycological experience, quoting Yahtzee if I may “Silent Hill 2 is very good a telling a story without words”. Even compared to this generation of graphics it's hardly much of a graphical step down and very playable.
Combat, admitedly can be a sloppy affair but let's not forget James is a clerk. This was likely intentional in order to stop you from feeling like a power house and keeping you in a constant state of dread.
Buy this game now, it's the best horror game out there.
