I'd never watched ANY of the Sex and the City TV show until after I watched the movie. You don't miss out on anything or feel confused. If you love romantic comedies then this one is right up there. It makes you laugh and cry, but definitely not for younger viewers though, with the sex scenes. Particularly great is that they are a little but older now and still fabulous (one of them turns 50 in the movie). Go ahead, get swept away, you will enjoy it and end up trying to find the seasons to watch like me!

If you’ve been yearning for all those girly chats, sassy lines, fabulous outfits and parade of Blahniks and Choos– don't despair – the fab four have catwalked their way into a feature film. At long last, Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha are back. They're older, wiser and wittier, but have times really changed, and importantly, will Carrie get her fairytale ending with Mr Big?
