I found this game very repetitive. Don't get me wrong, the graphics most of the time are a dream except for the odd exception where the framerate slows and its like the screen has a stutter. Game play is exactly the same throughout. You fight with basicaly the same moves throughout and have the odd chance to duel very very simple controls (Up, Down, Right on the analogue stick). These cotrols are used not only for defense but also attack.

The Graphics are birilliant but this is a game I would leave to a rainy day or perhaps when I'm hung over and need something repetitive so I don't forget the controls.

After reading some mixed reviews of it, I decided to get it. Unfortunately, it's yet another port with stuttery framerates in certain locations. The weird thing is, sometimes it's as smooth as butter with no problem at all. The game itself has been fun. I love the duelling, the finishing moves are cool to pull off, and Jack Sparrow's ani­mations and voice is spot-on! I cracked up at the bit where he kicked one guy in the nuts. The Sixaxis works well on the beam and rope balancing. If you're a fan of the movies it's definitely worth a look! I give this 4 stars, would have been five if the framerate was fluid throughout. It's not bad enough to make the game unplayable, but just enough to take the sheen off an otherwise fun title.
