My sister brought this a few months before her son turned 3 and my son was about 18months old. I was amazed at how well my nephew could play the game independently and how well my son sat and waited for his turn and spun the wheel. I waited for this to come on special and got it for myself and now my son is 21months old and repeats the shape names as they are spun and does the actions to the song at the end of every game. It says 3+ but I would recommended it as 18months+ great game to teach shapes and turn taking and evolves for when the kids are older with the number dice and blank side of the drain.
