My primary goal was to protect the switch while I hauled it to and from work. In that respect, this case does a reasonable job and has pockets for a few game cartridges. However, there is quite a bit of play between the top of the shell and the screen-protecting-card-flap which leads to the switch partaking in a modest bit of soft rattling.
Other cases available sported a little mesh pocket which in hindsight, would have been better for dragging along those joy-con “straps” which makes the controllers a bit more substantial when duelling a colleague in Mario Kart.
Again, not too bad for the price, but you can do better if you pay a bit more.
