Description

Prepare and enjoy delicious dishes seen in, and inspired by, The Lord of the Rings. Hardly any other work from world literature is as beloved and admired as J. R. R. Tolkien's. In both The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, Tolkien created incredible fantasy classics full of exceptional heroes, places, and adventures-and also full of culinary treats! What do lembas bread, Bilbo's famous seed-cake, or Sam's coney stew really taste like? And is the tater soup at The Prancing Pony truly as delicious as they always say? Over sixty fabulous recipes are just waiting to bring the fantastic world of Middle-earth right into your kitchen!

Author Biography:

Grimm, born in 1972, finished an apprenticeship in bookselling and works as an author, translator, journalist, editor, and producer for a large number of international book and newspaper publishers. He is fascinated with literature, movies and video games. He loves amusement parks, travelling, and grilling experiments throughout the entire year. Just recently, he received the World Cookbook Award for his work. He lives and works in a small town in the Wiehen Hills near Bielefeld (which, despite all rumors to the contrary, does exist) with his family, a pack of wild cats and life-size statues of Batman, Kung Fu Panda, Rayman, and orc Thrall.
