Great show. Mother- Daughter show to watch with your mother/daughter.
I have found this series to be completely addictive. The character's Loralai and Rory are completely hilarious. The acting is great, all the roles, from the mains to small ones are very well done. The writers have done a fantastic job writing the script – the verbal interactions between the characters are very witty and keep to laughing all throughout the episode. I highly recommend it
I'm so happy Gilmore Girls are out on dvd! It's funny, and cute and heartfelt. It's interesting looking back on the earlier seasons and seeing just how much the show has evolved since. In my opinion every season gets better and better. Although it takes place in this town which seems a little unlikely, the show still has this great sense of realness to it. I know, no one could possible talk as fast and witty as these characters do, and you might think that this could possibly become annoying, but it doesn't it just gets better and how much credit is that to the writers! This show is a serious work of art, that never gets old. For those of you who are already GG fans, I really enjoyed viewing the Season 1 episodes again, it was neat to flashback to the beginning. For those of you who have never watched the show, I urge you to check it out!
Welcome to the picture perfect town of Stars Hollow, Connecticut. Founded 1779. Population 9,973. And home of Lorelai and her 16- year old daughter Rory - the Gilmore Girls.
Willful single mom, Lorelai Gilmore (Lauren Graham), and her equally determined teenage daughter, Rory (Alexis Bledel), are often mistaken for sisters. They both seem to cope with the same emotional rollercoaster’s, including Lorelai’s domineering parents and the joys and frustrations of the male gender… but when Rory’s attention turns from dreams of private school and Harvard to thoughts of boys and adolescent self-reliance, single mom Lorelai begins noticing more of her own rebellious youth-only 16 years ago-in Rory. This heartfelt, humorous drama appeals to young and old alike with its blend of traditional family issues and hip, contemporary attitude.
