Description

Danny finds an enticing game on his mother's phone... and is soon introduced to an even more exciting fighting game. This is fast! This is fun! This feels real! Danny begins to play more - and still more - until his sleep, eating, and schoolwork start to suffer... With a little help, Danny learns about the troubles of too much screen time and how to find a better balance. "A delightful and beautifully illustrated book that helps young kids and their parents navigate the challenges of too much screen time. Parents can explain and utilise practical ways to create balance for their little ones." Dr Anusha Lachman, Child Psychiatrist, Stellenbosch University, South Africa "Healthy media habits need to start when children are young. This clever little book will help you to help your child understand the need for moderation when it comes to screen time." Nikki Bush, Human Potential and Parenting Expert, co-author of "Future-Proof your Child" and "Tech-Savvy Parenting"

Author Biography:

Prof Claudia Gray is a paediatrician and paediatric allergy specialist. She trained in the United Kingdom as well as in South Africa and now resides in Cape Town, South Africa, where she runs a busy and innovative paediatric and allergy centre. She has been blessed with four beautiful children of her own, who have taught her so much more than any formal training can. With her background as a mother of four, an involved member of the community at large, as well as a paediatrician with clinical and academic responsibilities and experience in both South Africa and the United Kingdom, Claudia feels she has a vital role to play in providing true, accurate, researched and real information about all things paediatric and parenting. Her series of children's books aims to take scary or troublesome situations and explain them in a friendly, fun way through delightful rhyming stories.
