Description

This is the book that all my friends have wanted me to write and at 73 years young here it is!If you have never read the late Stephen Jobs Commencement Address to the graduating class of Stanford University then please find it in YouTube ASAP!Here is what stuck in my mind from his address: "You can't connect the dots going forward: you can only connect them looking backwards."If anyone had told me I would be a 73 year young serial entrepreneur relocating to St. Croix US Virgin Islands to live on a sailing yacht, I would have looked at them as a teen growing up in Jacksonville, Florida like they were smoking something other than a vape! Of course, my Mom acted as my role model as an entrepreneur as she was one back in the late 1950s as an interior designer. I also would never have believed I would be a TV investigative reporter for the prestigious Post Newsweek TV Group while watching my six o'clock local evening news at our kitchen table on the Magnavox (Google it!).However that is exactly what happened when I was 21 years old eventually covering Civil Rights marches and even a riot, going undercover to interview one of the leading Gainesville, Florida drug dealers and even meeting Joe Namath for a drink in the Hilton hotel before his legendary game in the Jacksonville Gator Bowl. I worked with some of the BEST REAL news reporters and anchors the Post Newsweek/CBS operation ever had including the wacky legendary late Stanley Seigel and the late CBS space reporter Bruce Hall, who covered the Challenger disaster. So join me from my days at Post Newsweek to my first big public relations consulting gig with the Original Marlboro Man to my current dome manufacturing business as I connect MY DOTS!
