This is the BEST product for mold making, especially for making many highly detailed products! BUT in saying that i offer some advice....... GET A SET OF ELECTRIC SCALES TO MEASURE CORRECTLY oh my lord my poor desk........... also be warned to create a LEAK PROOF SEAL…this stuff does not clean up well!
Excellent product. I was surprised, having used another alumilite mold before, at just how much detail it held. Easy to mix, provided you read the instructions, and very easy to work with once set. For anyone looking at casting high detail parts, I would highly recommend this product.
High Strength 2 is a high tear strength, RTV rubber with good flexibility. It is great for 2 piece moulds and moulds with undercuts due to the great elongation and superior tear strength. It has the highest tear strength of any of the mould making rubbers.
Ensure to read and follow product directions carefully and use protective equipment
