Set in 1939 New Orleans, this colourful musical animations centres on Charlie B. Barkin (voiced by Burt Reynolds) escapes from the dog pound and heads off to team up with his old buddy Carface Malone, who double-crosses him. Barkin finishes up in Heaven where he is refused entry until records of his good deeds are found, so he has to return to Earth.
