Launch Day stock is SOLD OUT - Order now for the second shipment of PlayStation VR!

By Kevin

Today, Sony held an event surrounding the PlayStation VR during the 2016 Games Developer Convention in San Fransisco, culminating in the announcement of an October 2016 release date and launch price of $629.99 in New Zealand!

Demand has already been incredible, with our first wave of New Zealand stock selling out in minutes! You can now place your pre-order from Mighty Ape to secure your own PlayStation VR from our 2nd shipment before Christmas!

As you might recall, Sony unveiled their VR project Morpheus back in 2014. It stole everyone's attention in E3 with biggest queues on the show floor.

It was the first prototype for PlayStation 4 with a head-mounted display. As Shuhei Yoshida the head of Sony's Worldwide Studios mentioned, this may well shape the future of games. The VR device will further enhance the world of PlayStation 4 with seamless integration with PlayStation Camera, DualShock 4 and PS Move.

There's already a lineup of over 50 games supporting PlayStation VR including Ace Combat 7, Battlezone, Bebylon Battle Royale, Until Dawn: Rush of Blood, RIGS, Robinson: The Journey, Battlezone, Gran Turismo Sport, Tekken 7, Star Wars: Battlefront VR and many more!

What's inside the box…
The PlayStation VR comes with the headset, a connection cable, HDMI & USB Cables, a processor unit, headphones, a power supply.

About the Advanced VR Display:
The screen connecting you with the virtual world with seamless experience is supported by an expansive 5." OLED 1080p display running up to 120 frames per second to make you feel of ‘being there’.

The first day stock has sold out, we strongly advise you pre-order early to avoid missing out from our second shipment before Christmas! More update will be released in our PlayStation VR product page.

Greatness Awaits with PlayStation VR.
