Thin and light enough to be mounted on the back of a TV – It makes a great addition to a minimalist living room setup.

Games load excessively fast from the onboard SSD (Which fits a fair number of games despite having about 380gb of free space), and the games run without a hitch. If you want to dip your toe into the Games Pass ecosystem, this is a perfect choice.

Media apps (AppleTV+, Netflix, Youtube) work flawlessly – probably better than my 3rd generation Apple TV.

Whisper quiet, amazingly fast load times, havnt touched my PS4 since I got it. Get gamepass and have access to well over a hundred games to download and play at your leisure, the most pro consumer console you can buy right now

Bought a ps5 disc version and this. After being a PS gamer for some 20 years I've sold the PS5 and am solely using the Xbox series s. This versatile machines visual capacity will amaze you, despite being more limited the game devs haven't caught up with the hardware anyway. My ps5 games barely look any different from their same versions on the S. In addition the Xbox game pass makes this such an affordable way to game, $500 console and a netflix-esc library of titles including AAA 10/10 titles, classics and NEW NEXT GEN GAMES… What. I couldn't bring myself to buy another $100 games if this is what's at my fingertips. Xbox have nailed it. This little machine is so compact and light you can put it in your backpack and get over to a mates place for some co-op goodness with minimal hassle. I'll probably upgrade to a series X in 18–24 months when the games start to keep up with the hardware but for now this machine pumps and it has all you need. Buy it!

If you are looking to swap games often with gamepass, I 100% recommend this machine, Only problem I had was the 512GB storage because the Operating system uses 80–100GB storage.

I was on the fence about this console for half a year, I couldn’t get the series x due to the demand and always thought this console would be a compromise, well after it arriving 2 days ago I can say it’s definitely not a compromise, I’m actually amazed at how performant this console is for the price point, you can play all your games no problem and game pass with this is the best deal in gaming to date, the SSD and quick resume feature makes getting back into your content a breeze 5/5 for me.

I bought this for its small form factor and was surprised by how well games play on it. I have a Series X also and do notice the difference in resolution but for the price and discreetness of the S I would highly recommend to anyone, especially if you are only running a 1080p TV/Monitor.

I don’t play as much as I’d like to but when I couldn’t play some games with my partner I knew it was time to upgrade – so glad I did! So much quieter and faster I wished I had brought it ages ago!

I’ve been a PlayStation guy my whole life, and have had every major console Sony has released. Series S looks great, performs perfectly, and Game Pass is a game changer, for me. Am using the S way more than I’m using the PS5. In fact, I probably won’t use the PS5 until HZD 2 arrives.

Combine this with a Xbox Gamepass subscription and a few on-sale games from the Xbox marketplace and there is no better way to get into modern console gaming

I bought the Series S semi-reluctantly when the Series X was impossible to find, but it was more than worth it. I was coming from an original Xbox One (I tend to bounce between manufacturers every generation) and with the money I didn’t spend on the X I was able to sign up to Game Pass, which comes out to 10 months for the difference in price, and play lots of ”free” games, as well as the monthly Xbox Live Gold games. (The Gold discounts are pretty good too!) True, there’s only half the storage of the X, but thanks to Smart Delivery and some hard work from developers most games won’t download oversized 4K assets on the Series S anyway, using less space. I suspect I won’t even consider upgrading to an X until they make a white one!

This is by far the best console I have owned! It’s super quick, no lag and the game loaning speeds are spectacular. Haven’t touched my PS5 since purchasing this. Only downfall would be the internal memory size but that can be fixed with adding an external hard drive anyway.
