I really enjoyed this movie.. It was an awesome movie right from the get go.

Every year a boy and a girl from each of the 12 districts are selected in a fatal lottery. They are beautified, paraded around before put into a giant arena to fight to the death. The Hunger Games has been brilliantly directed and produced to match the book. If you have not already seen this movie, buy it, watch it.

It's so great to finally have an amazing female role model that isn't over-sexualised or has no personality apart from the fact they're female. Katniss has real depth, something that Jennifer Lawrence was perfect to demonstrate.

I am always nervous about books that are turned into movies, but this one was done very well. A great watch- Jennifer Lawrence is a standout.

I always get anxious when they make a movie out of a well loved book, but I think they did really well.

But I definitely recommend that you read the books before watching the movie, because there are things that you can't understand very well from the movie.

Awsome effects but best watched on a big screen

This movie is everything you want in a film. It's got action, it's got angst, it's got unjustice. All the various story elements combine into making this a MUST HAVE film in your dvd collection. Worth every dollar in my honest opinion!
