Star Wars Galaxies -The Complete Online Adventure previews

This game is great. Not only does it have the fast paced action of the movies in land based combat, but it also features fun space combat (think the old school X-Wing/Tie Fighter type of combat rather then Star Wars Battlefront). You can choose to quest or PvP which also is land based or space based combat. The game's graphic's a­re a bit dated, however this is a plus because those with older hardware should be able to run the game with no problems.

I've been playing Star Wars Galaxies for over 3 years and have been through the changes the game has encountered over this time and I have to say, SWG is still the one of the few MMO's out there that caters to the number of different playstyles that it does. No matter what you like to do, it's quite possible the game covers it. You can even be an Entertainer if you really like and dance and play music :)

There's a large range of quests, and as soon as you start the game you're lead into a storyline. The beginning quests can become a little repetitive but they do improve as you move on. The quests in the expansions (all are inlcuded with this pack) are all pretty interesting and will take you across Kashyyyk and Mustafar, with Mustafar being my personal favourite.

Customisation of you character is pretty good, both physically and with skills. You have the ability to make your character stand out and look completely different from another of the same species, unlike some other games such as WoW. As you level up your character, you earn expertise points which you can use to improve on your current skills or add completely new ones. Customisation of your ship, vehicle, clothing, armour and many other things are also all possible and quite large in range.

If your an MMO player looking for something new, a Star Wars fan or just a gamer looking for something new, SWG is definetly worth a go.
