Probably something I shouldn’t have bought but good for a laugh ! ( haven’t heard back from Scotty yet he’s probably out of range !)

"Batteries had leaked and had corroded the contacts"
2 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

Upon un-boxing, I pulled the battery tab as instructed, and the product didn't work. I took the battery cover off to find the batteries had leaked, and had corroded the terminals. I cleaning all the leaked battery acid off the batteries, and from the battery terminals. I then tested the batteries with a battery tester, they were almost flat, which means it won't work for long unless I replace the batteries. But it's not worth buying new batteries for it, as the batteries would total more than half the price of the item. Put everything back together and managed to get it to work finally.

"The Star Trek Light-and-Sound Communicator is a great little pro"
5 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

This product is a miniature replica of the hand held Communicator used in the Star Trek TV series. The Communicator looks and feels good. It is very light Weight and care must be taken when opening the Gold coloured flip top (don't apply too much force).

The sounds that the communicator emits are good But sometimes you have to press the buttons a few times as they are not that sensitive. It would be good If the central disc had some animated features as well.

"Small but still functional"
5 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

Although small this Communicator is fun to carry around at work and the residents enjoy the light and sounds, some even remember ST:TOS.
