"Excellent."

If you liked ‘Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of The Cursed King’ you'll like this game too, because it's made by the same people. In fact I'd go so far as to say that it's Dragon Quest VIII's twin, but with real-time combat instead of turn-based. The graphics are stunning and settings are lush. The soundtrack doesn't intrude and all the voice acting is excellent. The characters are quirky and likeable without being cute. Their background stories are revealed slowly, and that makes them – in fact the entire game – very addictive. The real-time combat is lifted out of the ordinary by an interesting sphere grid-type of set up, where you place items on a board to gain new attacks, skills and attributes. All-in all, Rogue Galaxy is an excellent RPG, and if you can only afford one game this year make it this one.

"Great Game"

I've bought a US copy and it's a great game. Love the bosses as they need a bit of thought. So many mini games that a cool for compeltionists. Partner AI is a bit stupid but other than that, really good fun

"Awesome!"

Another masterpiece by Level 5. This is probably the best looking cel-shaded game for the PS2. Everything is great, the music, battle system, extras and sidequests. This game is a must have for RPG fans. Fans of Level 5 should also keep an eye out for Joan or Arc/Jeanne d'Arc (PSP).
