After countless Video game to movie translations from typical American Hollywood (which were very very pathetic), finally CAPCOM, the makers of the Biohazard video game series(also known as Resident Evil) decided to make a movie all in glorious CGI. In my opinion The DVD should of included a Japanese audio option, not everyone likes crappy dubs mate ⇒ 4 Stars
Not a bad movie. I'm a fan of the game and it was cool to see Clair and Leon in a much advance graphic animation. The animation work on this is pretty awesome and there were times I thought it looked absolutely real.
The movie itself is average and pretty simple. It's probably more enjoyable (or disappointing) for those who played the games only because this version follows the storyline of the game, unlike the physical films which starred Milla Jovovich. Those versions were altered by writers to attract a broader audience I guess.
All in all I say that this is not for everyone but I won't stop you cause I liked it and thought it was good enough to watch.

Degeneration is a direct sequel to the Resident Evil 2 game as it sees the return of Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield years after the disaster at Racoon City.
The CGI is excellent, the story and voice acting top calibre. One movie fans of the franchise and of anything zombie related should not miss out on.

Resident Evil – Degeneration is a great CGI movie packed full of resident evil 5 content. A must own for all Resident evil evil fans, which can only be described as ‘Awesome’ if you haven't got your copy yet quickly buy one..there sure to run out!
Pretty much how you imagine a Resident Evil CG movie should be. Minus a few soppy moments (which you get in every game anyway) it sticks pretty true to the game series. Great CG, and a few unmissable Leon/Claire moments. Well worth a watch for RE fans.
I know this is a CG movie, but I rather have CG characters like Leon and Claire who look like they suit the part. It could be done with real actors but then you don't get the actions like the CG has. I don't think anyone could do it in reality. Apart from sometimes noticing the words aren't matching the characters lips (Japanese), if you ignore them and concentrate on the action and the plot, you don't notice it. This is NOT a childrens dvd!
This movie is about Raccoon City 7 years after the tragedy. There are new mutated monsters and a rogue warrior seeking revenge for his dead family. The G-Virus has been unleashed once again and must be terminated before history repeats itself. I liked the animation almost more than the other realistic movies and the detail of the zombies was awesome.
