Office Chair Mat - Medium reviews

Read a review that this was incredibly hard to unroll but cannot relate, unrolled like any other floor mat and gets flat over time.

It's terrible, it's barely thick enough to support a chair, the wheels make dents in it and they get stuck there, but the worst thing is the smell, 10 days I have had it and it still stinks the room out, you can smell it in the hallway at night, it smells like dirty rubber gloves, I am going to throw it away soon if it doesn't stop

Mat was thick and a little bit tough to roll out initially but I just needed to add weights to hold it down. Thick and solid feeling, my chair doesn't roll as much as I expected – but I mostly got it it is to protect my carpet and I think it will do the job.

It works as intended, got a new one to replace my dads old one which had cracked away over time. Takes some time to unravel but leave it in the sun to soften and then use some books on the ends and your good to go. It will break over time, no it is not the quality, it is just what happens when a heavy chair and person are rolling on a peice of semi hard plastic. It still has some crinkles after a few days but theyre fading out and in no time itll go completly flat.

After many many attempts to make this flat, I finally got 4 weights on the corners to try and flatten it out. Left it for 72 hours, took the weights off and it coiled back up. Worst thing I’ve ever bought

It is just not the right mat for me, this is a tough material that damaged my wooden floor.

I am really pleased with the computer chair mat I brought from mighty ape it is great and protects my carpet preventing wear and tear under my computer chair wheels. I am pleased I looked on line at mighty ape to buy it

Very bad product. Takes ages to make flat from being rolled and cracks where an office chair rolls on it

I bought this only 1 year ago, it is now cracked and breaking apart. Cheap quality. Same as other its far too thin to work well.

The mat cracks immediately under pressure and is very difficult to flatten out. Very disappointed by this purchase.

I wish I had looked at all the images before buying, arrived in a roll, Paper thin plastic, hard as ever to roll out and keep flat. I should have just gone to stationary warehouse and bought a solid one, definitely not great

If ur first thought when buying this is ‘oh I can roll it out on my own I don't need weights’ then u will be v surprised. There are unfortunately weights shown for a reason </3

It takes some effort to unroll, one needs some heavy weights to hold it in the process, but after all it is as good as expected.

It does the job of protecting the carpet, but as another reviewer mentioned, the chair has made dips in the mat, meaning my chair always gravitates to the same spot.

Mostly got this to protect the carpet in my rental, thats really the only it does. Doesn't make it easier to move the chair on medium density carpet. If you're looking for a floor protector this works, if you want the ease of rolling a bit better than on carpet, don't bother unless you have really thin carpet or don't weigh much. Does take a while to flatten out but sticking it out in the sun for an hour or two works well

This is good value for a chair mat. Seems sturdy and works fine. The only thing is if you sit in same position you do get some divets in the plastic so possibly could be a bit thicker to stop this. But saying that we brought these to protect the carpet and it is doing that task good.

Wait for a sunny day and leave out for about 3 hours. That will leave the mat flat as a pancake. Good quality and doesn’t smell like rubber.

Arrived on time which was great. Thought it would be easier to slide my chair on rather than carpet but it's pretty much the same. But still good. Depends on carpet you have I guess.
