Lost Planet: Extreme Condition reviews

I haven't finished this game but from what I played I quite enjoyed. The only thing that really annoys me about this game is terrible controls with not much option to change them. If the controls were better, this game would be great. There's all sorts of different enemies to fight and different machinery to operate, worth playing.

Boaring as anything gameplay sucks and plot is streched over to much pointless running

The game sounds cool, and the cinematics are alright. But the game play is horribly simple. The game mechanics dont flow together well.

The mech's were the biggest draw for me, however they turned out to be a let down. I knew it was too good to be true, transformable mechs, big guns… i found in the end the only reason i finished the game was to see if there was a cool mech to pilot… what a disapointment that was for me (you'll understand if you can be bothered finishing the game…)

not to mention you can run around with the mech guns, which makes grabbing normal guns meaningless… kinda weird… anyway this is what happens when games are made by japanese for the US market… they get rushed and end up half complete – graphics, story and especially gameplay.

I think this game is awesome. If you hate shooters where you have to wander around and solve puzzles and want to get into action without having to spend an hour sitting through tutorials, this ones for you. There's three levels of difficultly, so if you don't find it challenging enough, go for the hardest one. The graphics certainly live up to expectations.

This game was not that great single player but online it is a great game but two days ago microsoft issued an update which you have to download our you can not play the game .But here's why i say it is crap i have been playing this game online for over 100 hours before the update but after the update i can not join a single game as you join the game go to the lobby and everytime after a few seconds you get this stupid message . THE MATCH HOST HAS CANCELLED THE MISSION RETURING TO THE LOBBY . And this happens in every online game you join so if you are going to play this online do not buy this game

I was pretty disappointed with the game, it all gets very monotonous very quickly, usually capcom are great for making intense atmospheric games, but this one really falls short.

If theres any other games that you are looking at getting, get them before getting lost planet

I just don't get the appeal. Okay, it's fairly pretty, but not remarkably so. Okay, so you get to blow stuff up. Big deal. Oooh, it's set on an Ice Planet! How novel and exciting and… oh, hang on, it actually doesn't make any difference to the game at all, it's just scenery. Wicked.

This game features incomprehensibly boring cut scenes (and if you turn the music volume to 0 you don't get to hear any of the dialogue… WTF is up with that?). Okay, that's a minor gripe, but I still prefer a little bit of intelligent story in my games!

As for the game play… shoot shoot kill kill… oh, here comes the boss creature for the level, so I guess I should… oh, no puzzle involved, so just Shoot shoot shoot… etc. Anyway, this kind of mind-numbing, derivative game play, reminds me of all the terrible games that used to prolifferate all the spacey parlours of my youth. I don't find it at all interesting or exciting, and in fact, quite boring to be perfectly honest. My single BIGGEST gripe with the whole game is those stupid radar stations… what the hell do you need a map for anyway when there's only one way to go (and it's laid quite clearly out in front of you) and WHY do you have to bash the ‘B’ button REPEATEDLY to open the damn things?

Okay, so loads of people obviously think this kind of thing is great fun. Power to them. The same people probably don't care about cut scenes anyway, probably don't like having to use or develop stratagies, or, I don't know, have to use their brain occassionally when playing games. Would you describe yourself that way? Yeah? Golly, you'll just love it then!

This game has everything. Great gameplay, good storyline, and great online play.

A must have for all 3rd person shooter fans! Definatly worth buying. Hours of online fun with different types of multiplayer games.

this game is great its a must have for the full experiance of the xbox 360

Starts off very easy starts getting harder a bit into the game, every level has a boss at the end and i must say are all unique and fun to kill. The game features a grabbing hook which gets you round/over buildings or cliffs and the mechs in the game are just fun to use with heaps off differnt types with differnt abilities some are able to transform into a vechile.

Theres heaps off differnt type off akird (aliens) which keeps you entertained as each have differnt weakspots, your also able to shoot off the wings or legs and make them fall to the ground.

Great game, its a must own
