"Excellent piece of kit compliments your flying"
5 stars"

The Saitek switch panel is a great piece of gear from Saitek I got into FS2004 eighteen months ago after breaking both my ankles both sides from a roof fall. Flying Flight simulator has helped me to keep my mind off the everyday pain life brings me. The Saitek switch panel along with the other saitek products ( I have them all except the foot pedals) brings a new dimension to flight simming. Everything works well I love it

"Unneeded, but neat."

This is a cool little addon for your FlightSim setup. Obviously, you could just have these things mapped to your keyboard, but having actual physical switches and levers just ups the realism. The ignition could have had an actual key in it, I feel – as it is you just have to turn this round spikey thing, which is nothing like real life.

The master switches should be right next to each other and it would be neat if they made it so you couldn't switch on the alternator without the battery switching on too, but you could isolate the battery, as in real life. The Avionics master should be white as well, I've never been in a plane where it hasn't been. These are all pretty pedantic points though.

By far the coolest feature is the landing gear switch & lights – the switch is accurately shaped, and the LEDs actually match the gear's status in the game!

This switch panel is a step up in realism and though it's a little pricey, if you have the cash to burn you may as well go for it.

"Realism counts!"

I was a bit uncertain as to needing this bit of kit, but 10 minutes after I received it and had it plugged in, I was looking at the next panel to go with it (which I also just bought). This adds a new dimension to FLTSIM and it CAN be used with X-Plane 10 by downloading a file and putting it inside a folder in X Planes directory (X-Plane.org has it named as Xsaitekpanels). Having the switches at your finger tips instead of trying to scroll around the cockpit is just unreal. The Saitek panels all bolt together (and to the Yoke) so you can easily move it out of the way if you can tear yourself away from it. Worth the money and Mighty Ape delivered in record time!

"A good choice for any flight sim enthusiast"

This button box/panel is comparable to the private built one for the truck simulators but up to $200 cheaper! Even if all the other components are not wanted, or you have no room for them, still get this one. The switches that it replaces are almost always hidden under the yoke in the aircraft and with this box, you can reach them easily and with realism. The USB cable is very long and there's plenty of holes for attaching to your desk. The next panel for me will be the Autopilot/trim/flaps and that will mount on top of this panel
with ease(brass threaded nuts are encased in the plastic) — Note: The drivers to use this panel and test it are on the Logitech website but if you use Windows 10, the options for download are down the list and therefore hidden – (a silly move by logitech indeed putting 32bit drivers on top)
