Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix reviews

As a Whole I feel this was needed ever since I left my PS2 > PS3 + Box TV > HD Flat-screen, I'd always felt I'd left games behind that I enjoyed so much. Games that I wanted to bring with me to the PS3 and whenever I tried these out on my PS2 and HD TV they just looked so terrible – graphics wise so much screen tearing, fuzzy, distorted images It wasn't compatible. Then they finally announced many of these games, some more recently that have been given HD rendering improvements/con­version to the PS3 i.e KH1 FM, KH CoM, KH2 FM, BBS, FFX , FFX-2 to name a few.

So far I'd say that overall the HD transfer looks great for instance the general game-play looks fantastic most cut scenes are great, apart from times it looks as though certain aspects of the game were overlooked I.e when they do close-ups, the eyes in particular look fuzzy not HD. The faces sometimes look distorted and at times when they speak their faces don't match or open at all when they talk. Apart from those minor niggles and some camera angles and the still evident plat-forming problems faced with the original it is a great game.

I love how they have re-arranged the action bar and made the triangle function similar to how it does in KH2 for opening chests and performing special commands.

The Artbook is great, interesting to see how the envisioned Sora early on in the development.

Also wish they had done a better job on the 358/2 days and added in the fight scenes that you who have carried out during the game rather than cut in/out missing the fights completely.

So HD and such an awesome game! Brings back memories. 10/10

My favourite game ever in absolutely gorgeous and crisp HD, with a redone soundtrack, and it's Final Mix which hasn't left Japan until now- Next best thing to KHIII. Everyone buy this, now. It's the best thing ever.

Square Enix have done a bang up job of remastering this PS2 classic. Definitely a must have for both old and new fans!

Playing this game brought back so many memories. It almost brought tears to my eyes, not even embarrassed to admit! But damn this game is amazing :')

They have made a great game better! Kingdom Hearts needed hd to show all of the details that you couldn't see before and with all the little tweeks here and there it makes it a awesome

Loved this game as a kid and still love it.This game look's fantastic in HD.It also includes Chain Of Memories which I hadn't been able to play until Kingdom Hearts 1.5 was released.If you are a fan of RPG games I recommend this.It's so much fun.

The small updates and additions for KH Final Mix were enough to interest me in this, along with re:chain of memories, it was an easy decision! A must buy for fans of the original

The kingdom hearts series is my most favourite gaming series ever (mainly because it has its own story with final fantasy and Disney characters also) and 1.5 hd remix does not disappoint. The last time I played kingdom hearts 1 was almost a decade ago, and this time through I can still say absolute awesomeness. The visuals are more crisp and the game is very bright and vibrant, I would say a very good re master and putting three entries together in one disc and a very good idea. All great memories are relived and the nostalgia is something that just keeps coming back. But for those who've never played before, its a great game (personally my favourite is KH2 which should be coming in 2.5hd remix soon) and if you are one who loves final fantasy and/or Disney and adventure/action games, this is for you. Although sometimes there are problems with the moving the camera it can be dealt with and is nothing in comparison to all the greatness these legendary games deliver. For me its even better than what it was on ps2 and I'd recommend it to anyone who's willing to give it a try or even played it before and contemplating on whether they should buy it. It is annoying how KH 358/2 days isn't playable but atleast we were given cut scenes which is fine because the game is really short anyway. But in my opinion this game is still a solid 10, just because it does meet my expectations as a re master and it just as fun as always.

This game has got to be one of the best games ever made in my opinion. When my one stopped working on ps2, I was so sad, and when it was re-released on ps3, I just wanted to cry. I was eagerly waiting for a month to get it, and now… :). It's an absolutely brilliant game and at the end, it was so close to making me cry with the legendary (and emotional) storyline ending.

Absolutely a must for any Kingdom Hearts fan.

One of the best PS2 Games!! Almost finished KH1 and it looks brilliant in 1080p! Holds up well, minus some small images that weren't up-scaled. Recommend you buy now! Awesome game!

I saw this on one of Mighty Ape's daily deals and thought I'd pick it up. However after pick up I noticed that the version I bought is actually an import.

I'm very dissapointed that Mighty Ape are deceiving their customers by intentionally neglecting to mention whether a product is imported or the real localised version.

One of the best games of all time, remastered for the ps3. If you don't own this you should! It's a must have for all gamers. Great storyline and an expansive range of gameplay. This game is one that keeps a player glued to the screen for hours!

This collection not only means I get to re-live Kingdom Hearts, but also get to enjoy the other two games which I never had a chance to play!

I was a little concerned that I would get bored of this but I'm 11 hours in (while looking after my baby too) and still stuck to the screen :)
