Very well done documentary from the makers of ‘Metal: a headbangers journey’.

The film covers the bands epic 1st leg of their Somewhere back in time tour travelling from Mumbai, India to Toronto, Canada. Bruce Dickinson flies the bands custom 747 jet Ed Force One around the world with all the crew and gear. What was a dream at first comes into reality here with the worlds biggest band Iron Maiden on one of the most incredible tours ever.

You get a inside look on what the crew and band goes through during each day of the tour, before hitting the stage and then flying to the next venue.

The second dvd contains the full concert set filmed at various locations on the tour. The sound quality is excellent and all filmed in HD. The production here is flawless.

I feel lucky to have seen them on the 2nd leg of this tour (not part of this dvd) in Auckland. If you are a Maiden fan you will have this already, if you dream of being a rock star check it out! You need to see this. \m/

A fantastic behind the scenes look at one of the greatest metal bands of all time! It was amazing in the cinema & equally great on DVD. The sound quality is brilliant & the documentary footage is a real treat for fans. I've already started to wear out my copy (not to mention annoy my neighbours) and it was only delivered to me a couple of days ago. The tour diary, written by Mr Bruce Dickenson, is well worth a read as well. Very funny!

Went to there concert here in NZ what an awesome awesome experience, I watched the Flight 666 as soon as i got it an brought back memories of the concert. I enjoyed watching there journey around the world. An there Plane I WANT ONE! lol. Even my 5 year old daughter jumps in the car an asks for run to the hills to be play, Wicked stuff.......... *IRON MAIDEN ROCK *

This DVD is simply amazing, it gives a great insight into what it takes to get a show ‘on the road’ so to speak, and is the next best thing to actually being behind the scenes.

The footage available is suburb, plus the feeling you get when watching the film and accompanying concert footage.. Let's just refer to it as ‘tingles’.

Do give these DVD's the justice they deserve I recommend a 5.1 surround sound system… It's like standing in the middle of concert arena's all over the world, but from the comfort of your own lounge.

Great to see behind the scenes of the tour – which adds a new dimension to the viewing/listening pleasure. The music, as always, was fantastic – a great buy for all metal fans.
