"More satisfying than my wife was"
5 stars"

This is truly looking out to be quite a set. The Heroes of Might and Magic series is often labelled as one of the best in turn-based strategy, despite four being anathema, and five being average at best. (Three is, in my opinion, the best turn-based strategy game of all time). But what makes this set so striking is the sheer volume of media that it comes with. Personally, I'm mostly looking forward to the 3-disk original soundtrack, as all of the music in the series is breathtakingly beautiful. Being your stereotypical overweight geek, I'm also quite excited about the 180-page artbook and 500-page encyclopedia. You'll also get a nifty poster to hang on your wall (honestly I'll get it framed – yes I am single and lonely in my life), and presumably the shirt will be pretty neat as well. To top it off, there's the tarot-thinger which I don't really care for, and then a bonus DVD containing, I dunno, probaby stuff I won't ever look at but cool to have just for completion's sake.

Anyhow, the point is that while I agree entirely that $160 is a heck of a lot of money – regardless of what it's being spent on – I truly feel in my heart of hearts that for any Heroes or turn-based strategy fan that this set is worth your dollar. The Heroes series has always meant a lot to me personally, and honestly I only discovered the existence of about 2 hours before this writing, and already have it pre-ordered. If you or someone you know can identify with my passion for Heroes, seriously just splurge and get this set. It comes out around Christmas time, so you can justify it as being the coolest present of the year.
