"Great actors ,great classic"

Very tense old fashioned thriller, with some of the greatest actors

"Excellent crime drama"

Purchased on Mighty Ape

Superior action/drama with magnificently staged action set-pieces, impeccable acting and mostly terrific dialogue. Directed with restraint, the influence on Nolan's The Dark Knight is clear, and the central scene with de Niro and Paccino in the coffee shop is a joy to behold.

"Gun play"

Purchased on Mighty Ape

Great to see Pacino and De Niro in the same film (even if they don't actually share the screen that much). It's about 30–40 minutes too long, but makes up for it with the epic 15 minute gun fight in the third act. Keep an eye out for Val Kilmer's tennis ball sized boil thingy on his left arm. Every time you see it, do a shot!

"A truly stunning film with a pretty decent transfer."

If you haven't seen this film, you're missing out on one of the greatest action/ drama/ thriller/ romance movies of all time. I say romance, because watching it again recently it became apparent that this incredibly masculine film (a modern day Peckinpah vibe to parts) is really a film about the struggle to find and hold on to ‘someone’. The transfer is pretty good for a film of it's age, and the audio is nicely balanced and spatial. Highly Recommended

"Al Pacino, Deniro"

Thats all you need to know. The remastered high-def is very impressive. But there are some scenes with a bit of hue.. But that doesnt nothing to take away from the quality..
