Simple Brilliance. I am a seasoned anime fan, and i can endorce the Cowboy Bebop series with every ounce of enthusiasim I can muster.

Set in 2071, two hardly-famous bounty hunters go about their breath-taking, tear-jerking (and sometimes plain usual) journey as they pick up unlikely crew mates, re-discover their past, and glimpse into the lives of seemingly normal people met accross the solar system.

A collection of ‘short-story’ episodes keep the series fresh and inticing. Love, friendship, deception, and wacky comedy- A series you will want to show your siblings, friends, parents and more!

I am in love with cowboy bebop!

I'm one of those people that was never really into anime, then I saw this. The characters are spectacular, Spike Speigel being an obvious standout, and the whole story line gives you a lot of room to be creative. It really makes you think. Easily one of the greats. A definate must see!

Cowboy bebop was a very successful anime back in the late 90s and its hard not to love it. I could go on for hours explaining why Cowboy bebop is great but i will give you the highlights. 1) its set in a sci fi future and you have space criminals. But on the plants it looks like a modern city plus you have a western feel because the police forces will have bounty's up for garb. 2) Most people watch subs because the english voice acting is rubbish but not for Cowboy bebop. every character has a great voice acting behind it. Not to mention good writing and personality. 3) if you watched western movies you will get a kick out of this. Its basically a tall about spike, the main character out for the truth and hunting down hes former friend. Bottom line if you or haven't watch anime Buy it. You won't regret it

Set in a universe where the Earth has been deemed uninhabitable and man is forced to live in other planets, Cowboy Bebop is about a bunch of bounty hunters and their space ship Bebop. The crew of the Bebop include: Spike Spiegel, the adept martial artist, Jet Black, former police guy turned bounty hunter and Bebop owner, Faye Valentine, an amnesiac who has fascinating fighting.

I enjoyed the few of these episodes that I had caught on Cartoon Network so looked forward to watching the series on DVD. The case turned up and the first thing I noticed was that the box was open and one of the DVDs was falling out. When I opened the case further I found that the DVD carriers were not held in properly but flopping around loose :( Fortunately none of the DVDs were scratched and I was quickly able to catch up with the exploits of Spike and co. I am currently up to disk 5 and still enjoying it ( and seeing the similarities and differences to Firefly :) ) Pros- a great way to see all of CB without having to use a Foxtel service. Cons, the constant having to skip the intro/ intermission screens

Cowboy Bebop is one of the series I recommend to people who want to get into Anime. Great story, great characters, covering multiple genres in various one shot episodes that link into the whole story. It is a brilliant ride. The quality of this set is awesome and one I'd recommend picking up if you don't own it.

Well worth a watch is tour at all into Sci-fi Anime.

What an amazing anime must own for any anime fans. Great action mixed in with some hilarious funny moments. For a truly great price –.

Cowboy Bebop, much better voice casting than your average anime. It's great for the collector or if you missed it the first time around.

One of the best series I've ever seen. The theme is sci-fi, but it is not that hard coded. The focus is on the charachters, their story, and not on how the techs work. Each episode is a stand alone set, with some loosely connected main thread slowly emerging. The soundtrack is just astonishing. Should you like blues or just the sound of the harmonica, this is a must see for you.

Some official credits : Cowboy Bebop is considered to be an anime masterpiece. A 2004 poll in Newtype USA, the US edition of the Japanese magazine Newtype, asked its readers to rank the “Top 25 Anime Titles of All Time”; Cowboy Bebop placed second on the list (after Neon Genesis Evangelion), placing it as one of the most socially relevant and influential anime series ever created.

The best piece of art I have ever laid hands on. WISH there was more people making more on this. Absolute gold. Anyone, absolutely anyone should get this. Gritty and well balanced, amazing story lines with humor and the a very unique but the best type of design and style. STYLE. STYLE. STYLE. beats any rating imaginable :D cheers

Cowboy Bebop is definitely one of the greatest, if not THE greatest anime shows of all time.

Ignore the old release date, it makes no difference to the quality, and the hand-drawn animation is far superior to digital.

Cowboy Bebop has style, class and one hell of a cool soundtrack. It also boasts one of the best English dubs.

I loved hoe it is set in the future, but everything still looks dated. The show is funny, thought-provoking, sad, and of course, extremely cool!
