"$140???"
1 stars"

I can't believe nobody's said this, the price of the game is ridiculous, and they always find ways of getting people who buy it to pay more for extras. It's bound to be a great game, but I wish people would refuse to pay this much for it, the prices are just going to keep rising. It's abusive, in my opinion.

"Very Anticipated"
5 stars"

With new multyiplayer videos that have come out on you tube you can see some of the new things coming out in Treyarch's next installment of the Call of Duty series since Call of Duty: World at War which was in my opinion one of the best in the series.

  • The dogs are back in the killstreak mix as well as some of the amazing killstreaks that were present in MW2 and all new ones such as the RC Car. You'll also be able to choose your killstreaks again.
  • Create-a-Class 2.0 feature will allow you to customise your characters appearance, gun camoflage, and more.
  • New weaponary, equipment, and attachments such as a Crossbow, a Throwing Tomahawk, and the return of the Flamethrower.
  • The introduction of CoD points, which is an in game currency that you earn at the end of each match, will be used to unlock things for, Weapons, Perks, and Killstreaks.
  • New game modes that allow you to gamble with your CoD Points which could earn you double your money, or lose it all.

The new multiplayer features are going to make it very exciting and a must have for all you FPS fans. And don't count the single player out either. Expect the Veteran difficulty to be as frustratingly challenging as World at War.

"Ready for more!!!!!"
5 stars"

Apart from sceptics who should lighten up, Treyarch has produced some create work since COD 3. I've played COD World at War and it was amazing. It would be awesome to see legs torn apart, makes the game heaps more realistic. It's good to see they are moving into the Vietnam conflict. Can't wait to unleash te fury of hell against the Vietcong

"Yet another master piece"
5 stars"

Treyarch seem to make their Call Of Duty games more harder and challenging than their counter developer Infinity Ward (IW). It took me a little over 48 hours to 100% Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (MW2) which was a let down. However I am still finding it hard to complete Call Of Duty 3 (COD3) on veteran setting which was released in 2006.

The shocking prices for the downloadable content (DLC) which was released for MW2 was wrong. COD 3's DLC was alot cheaper only 800MS points for each map pack compaired to this 1200–1500 MS points for MW2.

You may think that COD Black Ops will be bad because it is made by Treyarch but they are actually more tactically minded when designing war games than IW.

"Looks like another solid entry to the awesome series!"
5 stars"

The game is rumored to be set in many different countries including the Arctic, Vietnam and more. Watch the trailer, it looks awesome!

"this looks pretty good from the look of the trailer"

The game features new equipment for the series, such as a scoped crossbow with different kinds of ammunition (e.g., explosive) as well as Dragon's Breath rounds for shotguns. During the campaign, the player will pilot aircraft: an SR-71 Blackbird and a Hind helicopter have been confirmed.[8][9][10] The dismemberment feature, showcased only in Call of Duty: World at War, can be seen in the teaser trailer.n multiplayer modes, vehicles will return but with a different handling than World at War.[9] Some PC specific features that were taken away from Infinity Ward's Modern Warfare 2 will come back, such as lean[11] and dedicated servers.[12] “Create-a-Class 2.0” will allow enhanced customization with appearance items as well as the usual perks.[9] Treyarch's multiplayer lead designer confirmed on their official forum that “killstreaks” will not count towards each other but will carry over after the player's death. He also stated there will be no TNW or other game-ending killstreak rewards.[13]

There will be a distinct four-player online co-op mode.[14]

"Oh Sweet Lord, yes!!! Come to daddy...."

Apart from the Bad Company 2 fanboy trolls, no one could be anything but very excited to get their hands on this, the soon-to-be best game on earth to follow the last two best games on earth (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 1 and 2)

The series has it all – gameplay, sound, graphics, realism (and lack of it when needed, so as to up the action), the works! Expect this to join MW2 and MW1 on the metacritic top ten all-time game list for PS3… A significant list that always contains the upper eschelon of games… Timeless and groundbreaking, regardless of their genre…

Oh yeah, and it seems Bad Company 2 isn't on it..... Ssshhhh fanboys… Metacritic is objective, you are not. You already trolled the user review score on metacritic down to 62… Pity the critic's one is 94! LOL… Expect this to garner a similar score.

My only warning to people buying the call of duty games is that, ideally, you have an internet connection and that it is quality… Campaigns are impressive (if a little short) and cinematic and things like spec ops are as good as the former, but multi-player is where it is at.

I'm still playing MW2 and will be right up until the Rugby League comes out and no doubt beyond… With the downloaded content (mate-share and does not cost too much – go halves or something) MW2 is sporting 26 maps! 26! That is gaming nirvana… Expect Black Ops to take it to a…

Whole…

Nuffa…

LEVEL!!

8-)

Taking on the Viet Cong in underground mazes of tunnels by torchlight anyone? Manning copter guns over the jungle and later battling the Russians in the Cold War take anyone's fancy? Of course it does!… And that's merely the campaign.

"Zombies!"

Aside from the fantastic multiplayer action and fantastic campaigns that Treyarch has given us in the past, the one thing that guarantees I will buy this game is the return of the ‘Zombies’ minigame.

"Call of Duty in Vietnam? ARE YOU SERIOUS?"
5 stars"

No doubt, this will be the greatest COD yet. Vietnam is a setting not yet explored but long overdue to be on the PS3. With Black Ops, we can finally trek through the treacherous Southeast Asian jungles infested with formidable guerrilla adversaries…and then kill them.

"MUST HAVE"

This game looks absoloutely amazing. The graphics look great, the era in which it takes place is a refreshing change from modern day and ww2. If this hasn't convinced you go to youtube and watch the 3 trailers and E3 demo's. :)

"Hoping it's not another W@W."
4 stars"

@Kristian Upcoming, New Release games are always going to keep on going up… Inevitable.

This game has a mountain load of hype for it; was on 3news today. Gaming on major news stories. I will buy, but hope that it doesn't turn out like Treyarch's last project World at War.. High hopes and big boots to fill. I would buy even if it was botched just for killing Nazi Zombies as President J.F.K in the Pentagon.
