Used on a resin ball-jointed doll, and worked extremely well, evenly sprays and has a decent amount of tooth. Will definitely buy another can once this one runs out.

This spray finish gives a very matt finish. Other spray varnishes I have used that are meant to be matt always give a satin or slightly glossy finish. Not this spray, it is very matt.
I can't deny that the finished results of this product are great. However I've now had 2 spray cans of Army Painter Varnish stop working before I was even half way through them. I always turn them upside down and spray after use to clear the nozzle and always use at appropriate temperatures. The spray cans are just really unreliable, save yourself $20 and either buy a different brand or buy the varnish in a tin.
This is a good product but just need to make sure you dont use it with any humidity in the air otherwise the results will be a figure that looks as though its covered in dust and this wrecks a great paint job
I was using my anti shine for the 2nd time yesterday and the spray nozzle got stuck in. It sprayed anti shine everywhere. Is was on my face, up my nose and all over a few of the models who I have to reaping now. I couldn't unlock the nozzle and that bottle is wased.
Useful in conjunction with other army painter products. Recommended.
Bought a 2nd can, my first can was a few years old and had strange marks like seeping varnish round the joins in the can, it also lost pressure. Worls well though and was perfect when under 1 yr on my shelf
Really good product. Shake it well and point it at distance. Matt Varnishes are not the best to protect a mini but they are awesome for removing the gloss. I was using matt medium diluted in water for it but this is waaay better.
Not a true Matt finish. The can itself is undecided whether it’s a satin or Matt varnish (both words appear). Similar to Citadel’s Munitorum.
Sprays well, seals the model from chipping and handling. 100% worth every cent.
Its good for its cost, unless you run with a car it over by accident and have to buy a new one
The varnish itself is very matte, so no problems there. However, after a few uses and still half full, the black nozzle started to wobble and finally broke off. Was unable to save the rest of the can, will not buy again!
Superb
Great for keeping all your detailed paint work from coming off.
Beautiful matt coat finish. Have just used on Zombicide figures over a couple of brush coats of protective Vallejo gloss for an fantastic matt finish. Very highly recomended.
