Short an sweet doesn't quite do it for me. Fables campaign is relativly short at around <15 hours. It isn't very challenging. The mini games get very boring. The character devolopment seems shallow and he/ she does not say a single word throughout the entire game.
But it is nontheless fun. The whole entirety of Albion is a graphical master piece. The combat is engaging. And the freedom you have makes for alot of time and fun spent messing around.
Fable 2 brings in co-op to the mix, and expectedly it isn't any good. I don't know if Lion Head studios has fixed the camera yet. But having to constantly push select to see around the corner, and having to stay in a close proximity to your mate gets annoying.
The DLC is something you want to download only if you like Fable. As it doesn't really bring anything that is interesting to those who got it because they could.
The code for the Master Chief, or as he is known in Fable 2 “Hal” armor. The armor itself is pretty cool to have, but doesn't provide any protection despite its title making it sound as though it did.
The game is one only for those who like RPG games, those who enjoyed Fable or those with nothing better to do. While it has plenty of fun little things to do to help make it seem longer, it lacks in a proper campaign.
If you are part of the arforementioned group then this is the game for you. Otherwise you may be a little disappointed with it. But who knows, you could easily get hooked and make great use of it.
