This game is awesome. I am usually a fan of survival horrors, RPG's and shooter games so this might come as a surprise but I LOVE THIS GAME!!

Its completely different from most other games and highly addictive. Everyday, I want to turn my GC on to see how my town is doing. To check what treasures are available and if anyone's left town. I'm constantly doing things to ensure that my town is a great place to be. It might sound extremely cheesy at first but after playing it for a couple of hours, I guarantee you'll be hooked.

The start of the game can be pretty draggy as you need to first work for the merchant until you pay off a little bit of your mortgage. After that, the possibilities are endless. Theres so much to do and so much to see. Its like another life that lives in your GC console. I bought this game several years ago and its still going. Occasionally i forget about it (like if I'm on holiday) and the weeds start growing or I get cockroaches in the house so it brings that “real life” quality to it eventhough you know its just a game.

Theres plenty to do in this game including fishing, developing orchards, redecorating your house, visiting other towns and stealing their goodies, shopping, exchanging items with other residents in the town, fossil digging etc etc. Theres just heaps to do..

I would certainly recommend this game to anyone of any age and any background. Its no Silent Hill or Resident Evil but its still a lot of fun :)
