Clint Eastwood is Thunderbolt, a bank robber in disguise, running from a gang convinced he double-crossed them in a heist years before. Jeff Bridges (in an Oscar-nominated performance) is Lightfoot, a fast-talking drifter helping him to plan a criminal caper to clear his name.
